8:00 Hotel Pick-up
Meet your guide and driver at your hotel and begin your journey to one of the most scenic destinations in the Trans-Ili Alatau—the spectacular Assy Plateau.
10:00 Turgen Gorge
Drive through the famous Turgen Gorge, known for its dense coniferous forests, rushing mountain river, and breathtaking scenery. Along the way, stop at some of the most picturesque spots to relax and take photos.
11:30 Ascent to Assy Plateau
Continue by 4x4 along a scenic mountain road to the high-altitude Assy Plateau, located approximately 2,600–2,800 meters above sea level. As you climb higher, the landscape transforms into vast alpine meadows and expansive mountain valleys.
13:00 Assy Plateau & Astrophysical Observatory
Explore one of Kazakhstan's most impressive high-altitude plateaus. Visit scenic viewpoints and the grounds of the Assy-Turgen Astrophysical Observatory, located far from city lights and renowned for its excellent conditions for observing the night sky.
14:00 Lunch
Enjoy a picnic in nature with prepared lunch boxes.
15:00 Free Time
Take a leisurely walk across the plateau, relax, and enjoy a photo session surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Experience the untouched beauty and tranquility of the Tien Shan wilderness.

Begin the journey back to Almaty along the scenic road through Turgen Gorge.
